SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold and silver prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined Thursday, 7th May, 2015 on the ScrapMonster Price Index. Platinum scrap prices too slumped.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 4.68 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 6.00 and $ 7.33 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $ 3.00 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap saw cut of $ 8.75 per Oz to reach $ 834.11 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $13.46 per Oz, edging lower by $ 0.05 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 4.42 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 5.67 and $ 6.94 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 2.84 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 8.75 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 0.06 per Oz.
