SHANGHAI, May 7 (SMM) - Agata Mining Ventures Inc (AMVI) announced to cancel three of four shipments of ore, scheduled to be exported in May, due to sluggish prices and poor demand, local media reported.

The nickel miner Agata in Surigao in southern Philippines, partly owned by Canada's TVI Pacific Inc, did not disclose the total volume for the three cancelled shipments, though.

Earlier this year it said ore shipments from the mine would likely be more than 2.5 million wet metric tonnes in 2015.
