SHANGHAI, May 5 (SMM) – The first berth of the wharf project co-invested by Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group and three other companies is scheduled to open in July this year, cnmn.com reported.
The project aims to build two bauxite berths, one heavy cargo berth, as well as loading belts. The wharf is designed to handle 10 million tonnes per year, and annual handling capacity is expected to rise to 30 million tonnes within three years, the media added.
The purpose of the project is to ship bauxite mined by Boke Mining Company to China for use by Shandong Weiqiao Pioneering Group.
