Shanghai Nickel Futures to Lurch Higher to 110,000 yuan, SMM Interviews

The July contract on Shanghai Futures Exchange is expected to climb to 100,000-110,000 yuan per tonne, Shanghai Metals Market’s interview shows.

SHANGHAI, May 5 (SMM) – The July contract on Shanghai Futures Exchange is expected to climb to 100,000-110,000 yuan per tonne, Shanghai Metals Market’s interview shows. 

“SHFE nickel market will continue the rising momentum, and will likely climb to 110,000 yuan,” an analyst from Galaxy Futures said in SMM latest interview. 

Yesterday, Jinchuan Group raised nickel ex-works prices up 2,200 yuan to 103,500 yuan, bringing traded prices of Jinchuan goods 1,900 yuan higher than the most actively-traded contract in Wuxi market.
