Indian gold retailer brand wins top consumer rating

The India-based Pure Gold Jewellers has won the ‘Best Consumer Friendly Retailer’ Award in the Gold Jewellery Retail category.

ABU DHABI (Scrap Monster): The India-based Pure Gold Jewellers has won the ‘Best Consumer Friendly Retailer’ Award in the Gold Jewellery Retail category. The retailer emerged as the winner among all seven sectors evaluated for the prestigious award instituted by the Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection (CCCP) division under the Department of Economic Development, UAE.

 

Pure Gold Jewellers topped the Consumer Friendliness Index 2014 (CFI) in the jewellery category. Gold jewellery retail category was introduced for the first time this year. According to Firoz Merchant, Founder and Chairman, Pure Gold Jewellers stated that the government’s CFI initiative will help to raise consumer satisfaction levels. He further clarified that the company would strive to improve its processes and services to meet the quality benchmarks set by the Index. Recently, the retail chain had won the coveted accolades in ‘Best Outlet’ and ‘Best Service Performance Brand’ categories during theDubai Service Excellence Scheme (DSES) Annual awards.

 

The CFI which is released every year aims to encourage companies to constantly improve their customer service quality. CFI 2014 had ranked 52 retailers from seven different sectors based on six criteria- price, after-sales service, product quality, clarity of service/warranty policies, value of money and customer satisfaction.
