SHANGHAI, Apr. 28 (SMM) – The National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) reported China produced 141,931 mt of copper concentrate in March, up 22.08% on the month, but down 5.69% YoY. This was in line with opinions that copper concentrate supply may grow more slowly than expected. With weather conditions improving, most Chinese copper mines have resumed production, allowing March’s output to grow noticeably from February. This increase is expected to continue into April.
