East China Aluminum Prices Rise as Demand Picks Up (Apr. 24, 2015)

Spot aluminum largely traded between RMB 13,080-13,090/mt in Shanghai on Friday, discounts of RMB 130-140/mt over SHFE 1505 aluminum contract.

          

SHANGHAI, Apr. 24 (SMM) –Spot aluminum largely traded between RMB 13,080-13,090/mt in Shanghai on Friday, discounts of RMB 130-140/mt over SHFE 1505 aluminum contract, versus RMB 13,070-13,080/mt in Wuxi, and RMB 13,100-13,120/mt in Hangzhou. Downstream demand picked up ahead of the weekend, allowing prices to rise. Higher prices discouraged traders from buying.
