China will remove provisional export tax on aluminum bar and rod from May 1, 2015, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement today.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 23 (SMM) – China will remove provisional export tax on aluminum bar and rod from May 1, 2015, the Ministry of Finance said in a statement today.

The tax adjustment applies to low-alkali refined aluminum alloy (（Na+K+Ca）＜10ppm, hydrogen＜0.12ml/100gAl, HS code 76012000), non-alloyed aluminum bar and rod (HS Code 76041010), aluminum alloy bar and rod with cross-section circumference ≥210 mm (HS Code 76042910) and aluminum alloy bar and rod with cross-section circumference < 210 mm (HS Code 76042910).
