SHFE Nickel Prices to Remain Steady (Apr. 22, 2015)

SHFE 1507 nickel contract prices opened at RMB 95,910/mt Tuesday evening, then rebounded to RMB 96,720/mt, then fell back to RMB 96,000-96,300/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 22 (SMM) – SHFE 1507 nickel contract prices opened at RMB 95,910/mt Tuesday evening, then rebounded to RMB 96,720/mt, then fell back to RMB 96,000-96,300/mt. Total positions increased 1,762.

SHFE 1507 nickel contract prices opened at RMB 96,320/mt on Wednesday, then dropped to as low as RMB 95,750/mt, but rose after 11:00 am with LME nickel prices, touching RMB 96,720/mt. Trading volumes decreased 35,322 to 44,290. SHFE 1507 nickel contract prices are expected to remain steady this evening.
