Chengdu Huaze Cobalt & Nickel Material Co. registered an 88.34% rise in net profits in 2014, the company said in its 2014 financial reports.

SHANGHAI, Apr.16 (SMM) – Chengdu Huaze Cobalt & Nickel Material Co. registered an 88.34% rise in net profits in 2014, the company said in its 2014 financial reports.

The company contributed the surge in profits, reaching 211 million yuan, mainly to rising nickel prices and new product development.

But, financial results were disappointing during the first quarter of 2015. The company expected to make a loss of 6 million or 8 million yuan during 1Q due to poor sales, the company added.
