Spot aluminum largely traded between RMB 13,110-13,140/mt in Shanghai on Monday, discounts of RMB 30-70/mt over SHFE 1504 aluminum contract.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 13 (SMM) –Spot aluminum largely traded between RMB 13,110-13,140/mt in Shanghai on Monday, discounts of RMB 30-70/mt over SHFE 1504 aluminum contract, versus RMB 13,100-13,130/mt in Wuxi, and RMB 13,140-13,160/mt in Hangzhou. SHFE 1504 aluminum contract drifted lower, leaving sellers in spot market anxious to sell. Processors took a wait-and-see stance. Traders were cautious about buying before the delivery date of SHFE 1504 aluminum contract.

[SMM Nickel Flash] The SMM average price of 10-12% high-grade NPI fell 17.2 yuan/mtu WoW to 1,035.8 yuan/mtu (ex-factory, tax included), while the Indonesia NPI FOB index average price dropped 2.06 $/mtu WoW to 131.2 $/mtu.
