SHANGHAI, Apr. 7 (SMM) – EMM prices in China fell in the week ending April 3, but at a slower pace. Traded prices fell to RMB 11,400/mt early last week, but stabilized later since most producers refrained from selling against losses. Trading was thin.
Operating rates at EMM producers did not drop sharply, and demand from #200 stainless steel producers remains tepid, so EMM prices will remain under downward pressure this week.
