SHFE Nickel Prices Close at RMB 97,300/mt (Apr. 3, 2015)

SHFE 1507 nickel contract prices opened at RMB 96,000/mt Thursday evening, then hovered between RMB 95,800-96,600/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 3 (SMM) – SHFE 1507 nickel contract prices opened at RMB 96,000/mt Thursday evening, then hovered between RMB 95,800-96,600/mt. Trading volumes decreased 8,358 to 89,664 lots, and total positions increased 2,226 to 82,950 lots.

SHFE 1507 nickel contract prices opened at RMB 96,090/mt on Friday, then hovered around RMB 96,900/mt. As the US dollar index fell in the afternoon, SHFE 1507 nickel contract prices rebounded and touched as high as RMB 97,800/mt, and closed at RMB 97,300/mt. Trading volumes decreased 29,048 to 60,618 lots, and total positions decreased 1,952 to 80,998 lots.
