LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for ships carrying dry bulk commodities advanced further to reach above 600 points mark on Tuesday due to the higher rates for smaller vessels.
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, up by another 3 points to 602 points on Tuesday.
