Shandong Sacredsun Power Sources Co. – a leading lead-acid battery producer in China – reported a 5.51% growth in profits for 2014 fiscal year, according to the company’s annual report.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 31 (SMM) - Shandong Sacredsun Power Sources Co. – a leading lead-acid battery producer in China – reported a 5.51% growth in profits for 2014 fiscal year, according to the company’s annual report.

Sacredsun created a net profit of 19.39 million yuan ($3.16 million) last year, or 0.18 yuan per share.

The company said better performance of its backup battery operation and overseas expansion were the major driver of the profit growth.
