SHANGHAI, Mar. 26 (SMM) – One lead producer in Linyi City, Shandong Province was ordered to close for failing to meet environmental requirements, local media reported.
The company, named Shanghai Fulong Lead Industry Co., Ltd., was required to update its facilities before being shut down, according to the report.
China has stepped up its environmental protection inspections since the beginning of the year.
