Japanese H2 scrap average prices continue to decline

The average price of Japanese H2 scrap declined further during the first week of March this year. This is the eleventh straight week of decline for H2 scrap average prices in the country.

TOKYO (Scrap Monster): The average price of Japanese H2 scrap declined further during the first week of March this year. This is the eleventh straight week of decline for H2 scrap average prices in the country.

The average price of Japan H2 scrap in Kanto, Central and Kansai region was ¥ 23,209/ton during the first week of March. The prices edged lower by ¥ 134/ton from the previous week. The prices had averaged at ¥ 23,343/ton during the fourth week of February.

The average price of H2 scrap in Kanto region was ¥ 23,933/ton. The average price in Kanto region dropped sharply by ¥ 400/ton when compared with the previous week.

The average H2 scrap price in Central region was ¥ 21,320/ton. The average prices in the region held steady when compared with the previous week.

The H2 scrap average prices remained flat in Kansai regions. The average price of H2 scrap in Kansai region during the first week of March was ¥ 24,375/ton, remaining unchanged when compared with the previous week.
