SHANGHAI, Mar. 5 (SMM) – China’s economic slowdown and weak market fundamentals may presage another tough year for copper and aluminum industry. What’s the key to living through the brutal times? SMM would like to invite you to share your views at the 2015 Shanghai Copper & Aluminum Summit scheduled for March 25-27.

Industry participants find it urgent to regenerate the material industry via innovation against slow growth across the globe and lackluster metal demand.

As a part of its efforts to innovate, SMM has developed online platform for physical metal trades in the Shanghai Free Trade Zone. Besides, the Shanghai Clearing House also launched Free-trade-zone Copper-premium Swap based on Yangshan copper premiums released by SMM on February 6.

A number of industry insiders, analysts and experts are invited to the summit to give their own insights into prospects across copper and aluminum industry.
