EMM in China was largely offered between RMB 11,800-12,000/mt after the Chinese New Year holiday, unchanged from pre-holiday levels.

SHANGHAI, Mar. 2 (SMM) – EMM in China was largely offered between RMB 11,800-12,000/mt after the Chinese New Year holiday, unchanged from pre-holiday levels. EMM producers are fulfilling orders received before the holiday, and obtained few orders after the holiday. EMM production is expected to fall slightly in February due to maintenance at some small EMM producers.

More traders will return to the market this week, so trading activity will become brisk. However, weak downstream demand will prevent EMM prices from rising.
