Standard-quality copper traded between RMB 42,550-42,620/mt, and RMB 42,600-42,700/mt for high-quality copper. Cargo holders were eager to sell at highs, but were unwilling to sell at large discounts. The price gap between standard-quality copper and high-quality copper widened, luring some traders and processors in. Demand should recover further next week.
