Russia plans to implement a ban on scrap exports

Russian government is likely to plan to implement a ban on scrap exports and the final decision will be announced after the discussion for a period of 15 days.

MOSCOW (Scrap Register): Russian government is likely to plan to implement a ban on scrap exports and the final decision will be announced after the discussion for a period of 15 days.
 
If the scrap export temporary ban is approved and it will be effective from April 1st. Anyway, the scrap export temporary ban has not been made public so far.
 
In the meantime, the Department said that temporarily ban scrap exports aimed at preventing domestic shortages and price increases in the domestic market.
