EMM prices in China fell further to RMB 11,800-12,000/mt in the week ending January 9.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 12 (SMM) – EMM prices in China fell further to RMB 11,800-12,000/mt in the week ending January 9. Operating rates at EMM producers changed little. Downstream consumption was sluggish following restocking before the three-day holiday.

EMM producers will produce based largely on orders. Downstream demand will remain weak. EMM prices are expected to remain at current low of around RMB 11,900/mt.
