The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for bigger vessels continued to drop on Tuesday as capesize and panamax indexes continued to plunge.

LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for bigger vessels continued to drop on Tuesday as capesize and panamax indexes continued to plunge.
 
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, down by another 3 points to 758 points on Tuesday.
 
The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
