SHANGHAI, Jan. 7 (SMM) – Lead for March delivery on the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the most active contract, rose above the 5-day and 10-day moving averages after opening Tuesday’s night session at RMB 12,395/mt and closed up RMB 100/mt at RMB 12,395/mt.
The most active SHFE 1503 lead contract initially dipped to RMB 12,305/mt on Wednesday, but later rebounded to RMB 12,485/mt before ending up RMB 85/mt, or 0.69%, at RMB 12,380/mt. Trading volumes for the most active contract gained 594 lots to 11,656 lots, while positions added 2,208 to 22,438.
