World Crude Steel production hikes by 0.1 percent, says WSA

The crude steel production in China for the month of November 2014, is recorded to be 63.3 million tonnes, which clearly shows, 0.2 percent decline, when compared to the previous year.

WASHINGTON (SCrap Monster):The crude steel production in China for the month of November 2014, is recorded to be 63.3 million tonnes, which clearly shows, 0.2 percent decline, when compared to the previous year. In other parts of Asia, Japan produced approximately 9.2 million tonnes of crude steel, which is also 1.1 percent lower compared to the past year. South Korea produced 5.9 million tonnes of crude steel, which is a 5.5 percent hike compared to the previous year.

According to the report, in the European Union,  Germ,any has produced about 3.6 million tonnes of crude steel, in the month of November 2014, which shows a decline of 1.9 percent when compared to the production of crude steel in November 2013.Italy has produced about 1.9 million tonnes of iron ore, which is a 13.9 percent decline, and France has produced 1.4 million tonnes of crude steel, which is a 5.8 percent increase when compared to the year 2013. Spain produced 1.2 million tonnes of crude steel in the year 2014, which is 1.89 percent lower than the previous year

Turkey produced approximately 2.8 million tonnes of crude steel in the month of November 2014, which is 8.6 percent lower than the production of the commodity in November 2013. At the same time Russia contributted 5.8 million tonnes of crude steel, which 5.8 percent higher than the production of crude steel in the month of November 2013. Ukraine produced 1.8 million tonnes of crude steel, which is 28.6 percent lower than the production in November 2013.

The United States of America produced 7.2 million tonnes of crude steel in the month of November 2014, which is a 1.5 percent hike, and Brazil produced about 2.8 million tonnes of crude steel in that period and is 2.3 percent higher than the production in the year of 2013.

In the report it is stated that, the ration of crude steel production in the mentioned 65 countries in the month of November 2014 was 73.5 percent, which is about 2.5 percent lower than the ration of production for November 2013. Compared to the reports from the month October 2014, the production ratio is 1.2 percent lower
