Update: China to Remove Export Rebate on Boron-Added Steel Products in 2015

China will remove export tax rebate on boron-containing steel products, effective from 1st Jan. 2015.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 4 (SMM) – China will remove export rebate tax on boron-containing steel products, effective from 1st Jan. 2015. 

The elimination of the export rebate tax will apply to boron-containing bar, wire rod, hot-rolled plate/sheet, and hot-rolled narrow strip, affecting products under HS code 72254091, 72269191, 72279010 and 72283010.

Boron-added hot rolled steel coil, however, is not included in this round of tax adjustment
