Prices for zinc market are expected to hover at highs in 2015, CITIC Futures foresees.

SHANGHAI, Jan. 4 (SMM) – Prices for zinc market are expected to hover at highs in 2015, CITIC Futures foresees.

“LME zinc is forecast to hover between $2,100-2,600 per tonne, and SHFE zinc to range 15,500-19,000 yuan per tonne in 2015,” the futures company expected.

The relatively strong market fundamentals will allow zinc to outperform other nonferrous metals in 2015, and zinc market will remain attractive to investors, if overall macro-economic conditions across the global are stable, it said.
