Taiwanese Feng Hsin's rebar prices remain stable

Major Taiwanese long steel product manufacturer-Feng Hsin Iron and Steel Co. has decided to leave its rebar prices unchanged for the week commencing December 22nd.

BEIJING (Scrap Monster): Major Taiwanese long steel product manufacturer-Feng Hsin Iron and Steel Co. has decided to leave its rebar prices unchanged for the week commencing December 22nd. The company also announced that the scrap purchasing prices and prices of section steel too will remain flat for the week.

According to company press release by Feng Hsin, the list prices for rebar will continue to remain at NT$ 16,200 per ton, same levels as of previous week. It must be noted that the company had announced a cut of NT$ 200 per ton during the week before.

The price for section steel during the week will be in the range NT$ 18,500 per ton to NT$ 18,700 per ton, remaining flat over the previous week.

The scrap prices will remain in the range between NT$ 8,400 to NT$ 9,300 per ton, unchanged from the previous week. The company had announced cut of NT$ 200 per ton during the week commencing December 15th.
