SHANGHAI, Dec. 19 (SMM) – China’s Jiangxi Copper Co. and Huabei Group entered into agreement to jointly build a 220,000 tpy copper rod project, Tianjin’s local media said.

The project will be constructed in two phases with the investment totaling some 3 billion yuan ($488.7 million).

Huabei Group has the largest copper semi producer in north China.
