Update: China Announces to Remove Tariff on Ferronickel Imports in 2015

China will implement zero tariffs on ferronickel imports in 2015, China’s Customs Tariff Commission said in the Tariff Execution Plan 2015.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 17 (SMM) – China will implement zero tariffs on ferronickel imports in 2015, China’s Customs Tariff Commission said in the Tariff Execution Plan 2015.  

China imposes a 1% duty on ferronickel imports in 2014.   

China’s inbound shipments of ferronickel were 231,000 tonnes (nickel content) during the first ten months of 2014, up 66.61% from 138,700 tonnes during the same period of 2013. 
 
In accordance with the plan, China leaves export tariff on NPI unchanged at 20% in 2015.
