SHANGHAI, Nov. 19 (SMM) – SHFE 1501 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 16,700/mt Tuesday evening, then hovered between USD 16,610-16,670/mt, and closing at RMB 16,655/mt, down RMB 60/mt or 0.36%. Trading volumes were up 70,656 to 161,180 lots, and total positions decreased 6,932 to 161,126 lots.

SHFE 1501 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 16,670/mt Wednesday, fluctuating between RMB 16,635-16,735/mt during the day, but edged up in the afternoon, and closing at RMB 16,665/mt, down RMB 50/mt or 0.3%. Trading volumes increased 6,976 to 262,796 lots, and total positions decreased 17,380 to 150,678 lots. SHFE 1501 zinc contract prices should consolidate this evening.
