SHANGHAI, Nov. 11 (SMM) – The US Geological Survey said a 5.8-magnitude earthquake hit northern Chile November 10, according to wenhua.com’s report.

Antofagasta – Chile’s copper producing center – is located in the north of the country. However, market showed lukewarm response to the news as the magnitude was considered relatively low and no significant impact on copper production there has been reported.
