SHANGHAI, Oct. 13 (SMM) – Weihai Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine Bureau detected excess cadmium in a batch of copper concentrate shipped from Ecuador to Weihai, Shandong province, according to chinatt315.org.cn – a website under China Association for Quality Inspection.
Cadmium content in the shipment was reported at 0.067%, exceeding the limit set by Chinese authority.
