LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for bigger vessels down on Tuesday mainly on lower capesize rates.
 
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, down by 2 points or 0.17 percent to 1,149 points.
 
The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
