SHANGHAI, Aug. 26 (SMM) – Inner Mongolia Chuangyuan Metal Co. is scheduled to build an 800,000-tpy aluminum alloy fabricating project in Inner Mongolia’s Huolingol in 2015, local media reported today.
The 7.2 billion yuan ($ 1.2 billion) project, will produce 300,000 tonnes of high-end industrial aluminum extrusions, 200,000 tonnes of aluminum alloy composite plate, 200,000 tonnes of high-end aluminum alloy bar, as well as 5 million aluminum wheel rims annually. The company is building an 800,000-tpy phase one aluminum liquid project to provide raw materials for the fabricating project.
Once fully operational, the project will yield 18.4 billion yuan in revenues and 2 billion yuan in tax and profits, as well as create 2,000 jobs.
