SHANGHAI, Aug. 1 (SMM) – Phase One of China Hanking Holdings Ltd.’s Southern Cross Operation Gold Project (SXO Gold Project) in Western Australia is expected to start production in August, the company told Hong Kong Stock Exchange recently.

The Phase One Project with investment estimated at AUD 30 million will be jointly developed by China Hanking’s subsidiary Hanking Gold Mining Pty Ltd, and three other gold mine consulting companies in Australia – Entech Pty Limited, Como Engineering Pty Ltd and CSA GLOBLE Pty Ltd.

Hanking Gold Mining will operate at four open-pit gold mines – Cornishman, Nevoria, Aqurious and Frasers South, which is expected to enable it to produce approximately 60,000 ounces of gold in 2015.
