DashboardDatabaseProReportsEventsConsultingUNITED KINGDOM July 25 2014 2:13 PM LONDON (Scrap Register): The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange for bigger vessels bounced back to 732 points on Thursday boosted by stronger capesize and panamax segments.
The overall index, which factors in average daily earnings of capesize, panamax, supramax and handysize dry bulk transport vessels, was up 5 points or 0.69 percent to 732 points.
The main sea freight index at Baltic Exchange is the rate which tracks for ships carrying dry bulk commodities.
