SHANGHAI, Jul. 16 (SMM) – China’s Ministry of Industry & Information Technology recently released the list for the second group of 52 enterprises that meet the Entrance Requirements for Photovoltaic Industry on its website. Thus, a total of 161 companies in the industry were certified by the MIIT.

The MIIT had announced the list of 109 enterprises that matched the Entrance Requirements in late 2013. These qualified companies are expected to enjoy more support from the government in terms of financing and export tax rebates, etc.

Notably, PV industry in Jiangsu province grew rapidly this year, with major enterprises reporting increases in both sales and prices as compared with a year earlier, China Association of Environmental Protection Industry said. Most of these enterprises were running at full capacity.

57 of the 161 enterprises certified by the MIIT are situated in Jiangsu.
