SEATTLE (Scrap Monster): The daily scrap gold, silver and platinum prices - hallmarked and non- hallmarked declined sharply Friday, 11th July on the ScrapMonster Price Index.

In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were down by $ 176.34 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap inched lower by $ 226.08 and $ 276.11 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also went lower by $113.04 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap too saw cut of $ 126.14 per Oz to reach $ 1,096.60 per Oz. Silver scrap prices too closed slightly on the lower side at $17.70 per Oz, edging lower by $ 9.01 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged lower by $ 166.79 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were down $ 213.84 and $ 261.17 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also was down $ 106.92 per Oz. Platinum scrap prices fell by $ 126.14 per Oz. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices witnessed a fall of $ 8.0 per Oz.
