Aluminum Corporation of China (Chalco) has recently completed the acquisition of a 91% stake in Peru Copper Inc., people.com.cn reported today.

SHAGNHAI, Jul. 9 (SMM) – Aluminum Corporation of China (Chalco) has recently completed the acquisition of a 91% stake in Peru Copper Inc., people.com.cn reported today. 

Toromocho in Peru, owned by Peru Copper Inc., is estimated to have copper resources of over 12 million tonnes. 

Chalco began its acquisition from June 2007, it added.
