LME zinc prices strengthened, and SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,880/mt on Monday evening, and then fluctuated between RMB 14,875-14,895/mt.

SHANGHAI, Apr. 8 (SMM) – LME zinc prices strengthened, and SHFE 1406 zinc contract prices opened at RMB 14,880/mt on Monday evening, and then fluctuated between RMB 14,875-14,895/mt, then rose and closed at RMB 14,905/mt due to soaring domestic stocks prices and rising LME zinc prices, up RMB 60/mt or 0.4%. Trading volumes increased by 2,490 lots to 15,948 lots, and total positions decreased by 1,908 lots to 67,718 lots.
