US West Coast copper scrap see major price cut

 

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The USA West Coast copper scrap prices mostly declined Wednesday, March 19th on ScrapMonster Price Index.

 

Alternator prices dropped by $0.01 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Wire and Tubing slipped by $0.05 per Lb. #2 Copper Wire and Tubing prices were also down by $0.05 per Lb. The price of #1 Copper Bare Bright also went lower by $ 0.05 per Lb to reach $2.91 per Lb.

 

The prices of #1 Insulated Copper Wire 85% Recovery saw a down move of $0.03 per Lb. #2 Insulated Copper Wire 50% Recovery prices also declined by $0.02 per Lb from the previous day. #3 Copper-Light copper prices went lower by $0.04 per Lb. Meantime, Copper Radiator prices also declined by $0.03 per Lb.

 

The prices of Copper Transformer Scrap, Cu Yokes and Cu/Al Radiator Ends declined by $0.01 per Lb each as on March 19th.

 

Cu/Al Radiators witnessed a price fall of $0.02 per Lb. Cu/Al Radiators/Fe and Harness Wire 35% Recovery prices fell by $0.02 per Lb and $0.01 per Lb respectively.

 

Scrap Electric Motors and Sealed units saw no daily variation in prices.

 

Starter price witnessed a dip of $0.01 per Lb.

 

Xmas lights remained flat over the previous day.
