NFC Signs Construction Contract with Kazakhmys for Copper Project in Kazakhstan

China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co. (NFC) signed a $486 million contract with Kazakhmys PLC to construct a copper project in Kazakhstan.

SHANGHAI, Feb. 20 (SMM) – China Nonferrous Metal Industry’s Foreign Engineering and Construction Co. (NFC) signed a $486 million contract with Kazakhmys PLC to construct a copper project in Kazakhstan.

Contractor Acxap-Tay, NFC’s indirect subsidiary company in Kazakhstan, will work on construction of the project till June, 30, 2014, according to the contract, NFC said in a statement filed to Shenzhen Stock Exchange today.
