In Shanghai, SMM #1 nickel prices were between RMB 94,300-95,400/mt.
SHANGHAI, Feb. 13 (SMM) – In Shanghai, SMM #1 nickel prices were between RMB 94,300-95,400/mt. Jinchuan lowered #1 nickel prices by RMB 300/mt to RMB 9,560/mt, with transactions brisk after opening but prices low. As LME nickel prices rose further in the afternoon, spot prices were between RMB 94,500-95,600/mt. Some traders were unwilling to sell goods due to market optimism, and downstream purchasing did not improve.
