Global Nickel witness oversupply during Jan-Oct: INSG

Global nickel witnessed an oversupply of 0.148 million tons during January to October, as per the latest figures released by the International Nickel Study Group (INSG).

LONDON (Scrap Register): Global nickel witnessed an oversupply of 0.148 million tons during January to October, as per the latest figures released by the International Nickel Study Group (INSG).
 
According to INSG, global nickel output reached 1.609 million tons during January-October while the consumption remained 1.461 million tons.
 
The surplus in the first ten months of 2012 was 65,000 tons. October's surplus was 21,300 tons, the biggest monthly surplus since December 2012, INSG data showed.
