Scrap gold prices moved higher, Silver remained flat on Index

The daily scrap gold prices advanced Monday, 28th October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However the prices of Platinum declined, while silver prices remained flat.

WASHINGTON (Scrap Monster) : The daily scrap gold prices - both hallmarked  and non- hallmarked advanced Monday, 28th October on the ScrapMonster Price Index. However the prices of Platinum declined, while silver prices remained flat.

 In the Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices were up by $ 5.25 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap went higher by $ 6.73 and $ 8.22 per Oz respectively.9 carat gold scrap also quoted higher by $ 3.36 per Oz. The price of Platinum scrap fell by $ 5.10 per Oz. Silver scrap prices remained unchanged over the day at $ 18.40 per Oz.

In the Non-Hallmarked category, the 14 carat gold scrap prices edged higher by $ 4.97 per Oz. The prices of 18 carat and 22 carat gold scrap were up $ 6.36 and $ 7.78 per Oz respectively. 9 carat gold scrap also advanced by $ 3.18 per Oz. A decline of $ 5.10 per Oz was seen in platinum scrap prices. Meantime, Non-hallmarked silver scrap prices were flat at $16.33 per Oz.
