Rare earth market remained weak last week, with prices for a few categories down slightly and demand still feeble.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 28 (SMM) – Rare earth market remained weak last week, with prices for a few categories down slightly and demand still feeble. Suppliers reported poor orders despite lower quotes. Prices for rare earth products are expected to remain low. 

Last week, average price was RMB 26,500/mt for lanthanum oxide, RMB 26,000/mt for cerium oxide, RMB 570,000/mt for praseodymium oxide, RMB 345,000/mt for neodymium oxide, RMB 339,000/mt for didymium oxide, RMB 4,900/kg for europium oxide, RMB 2,000/kg for dysprosium oxide, RMB 187,000/mt for gadolinium oxide, RMB 46,800/mt for cerium misch metal, RMB 440,000/mt for praseodymium-neodymium alloy, and RMB 210,000/mt for dysprosium-iron alloy.
