China’s Ministry of Finance released details on subsidy policy to distributed photovoltaic power stations on October 22, simplifying subsidy procedures to power plants using renewable energy such as photovoltaic and wind.

Henan Releases Medium-to-Long Term Development Plan for Wind Power
The installed capacity of wind power in Henan province will reach 5 million kilowatts and 11 million kilowatts by 2015 and 2020, respectively. Wind power generation will reach 7 billion kilowatts by 2015 and 19 billion kilowatts by 2020, accounting for 25% and 35% of the province’s power generated by renewable energy, according to the Henan Development & Reform Commission’s Medium-to-Long Term Development Plan for Wind Power 2013-2020.
