Tianneng Group Leads in Scrap Lead-Acid Battery Recycling
Zhejiang Tianneng Group’s circular economy industrial park boasts China’s top industrial park of its kind. The park is able to process 150,000 tonnes of scrap lead-acid batteries into 45,500 tonnes of secondary lead, 54,500 tonnes of lead-based alloy, 12,500 tonnes of plastics, as well as 18,900 tonnes of sodium sulfate.   

Banks Offer Greater Support to Environment-Friendly Industry
Lending by Chinese-invested commercial banks in Shanghai to environmental protection projects and service industry grew by 6.3% from early this year. The growth rate was 1.73 percentage points higher than growth in lending to other categories. The Bank of Shanghai provides credit to energy-saving and emission-cut projects every year, offering no credit to those failing to meet environmental protection standards and providing greater support to environment-friendly enterprises.
