Spot aluminum mainstream traded prices in south China rose RMB 40/mt to RMB 14,510-14,540/mt on Wednesday.

SHANGHAI, Oct. 23 (SMM) – Spot aluminum mainstream traded prices in south China rose RMB 40/mt to RMB 14,510-14,540/mt on Wednesday. Trading was brisk in the morning, driving aluminum prices up to RMB 14,540/mt. However, traded prices dropped to RMB 14,510-14,520/mt in the afternoon as SHFE aluminum fell and as some traders cut offers. Overall trading was modest.
